What is Galentine’s Day? Well, remember Festivus in December? This is sort of the same, being a made up holiday from a sitcom, but its from a different show, Parks and Recreation. Galentine’s Day happens on February 13th, the day before Valentine’s day (duh), and its a way for gals to get together sans significant others and have brunch. So that means waffles and cocktails. Or something like that. I have to be honest, I have never seen the show. I totally had to google it. I LOVE the idea. I am so down with Galentine’s Day! Because yum for brunch, especially brunches that have chocolate dipped strawberry martinis.
