I love most Rice Krispy treats. I say most, because I can't stand them if they are: 1. Too hard, or 2. Not buttery enough.
Which really, these two things go hand in hand. If you don't want your krispy treats to be too hard, you need more butter! Butter softens just about anything up when baking. Also, you can't overcook the mallows and butter either, or that makes them hard as well. How's that for a quick Krispy Treat 101 lesson?
