Now this is a recipe that you can have the kids help...(if you want). You can make anything- this picture shows bears, but you can make anything that you have in your kitchen for cookie cutters! This is a recipe you will use year round!
"The trick with this recipe is to spread fairly small quantities of chocolate at a time so that it doesn't set before you can cut out all your shapes."
Ingredients
Dark, milk or white chocolate, chopped or in pellet form
Small sweets for decoration
Method
Temper chocolate.
Pour some tempered chocolate onto a sheet of baking parchment and spread it with a spatula or pallet knife until it is smooth and of uniform thickness (about 0.5cm). Leave until it is firm to the touch but not completely set.
While the chocolate sets, make sure your cutters are totally clean and dry and, if possible, a little shiny, as this will make it easier to cut the chocolate. Then simply cut out your fun shapes.
You can stick on a few sweets to decorate the shapes using a little left-over chocolate as glue. Really young children love putting on eyes, buttons, and so on.
