WHAT IS "NSF CERTIFIED" AND HOW DOES IT AFFECT YOU?
The Chocovision Rev V, Rev Delta & Revolation 3Z are NSF Certified machines and we are going to discuss this in more detail to see how NSF certification affects you.
What is NSF Certification?
NSF certification is a designation that shows the machines meet strict standards of public health protection. The manufacturing facilities and machines are rigorously and continuously tested and inspected to keep this designation. Here is a brief description from
www.nsf.org:
"NSF certification assures suppliers, retailers, regulators and consumers that an independent organization has reviewed a product’s manufacturing process and determined that the product complies with specific standards for safety, quality, sustainability or performance. From extensive product testing and material analyses to plant inspections and auditing, we evaluate every aspect of a product's development."
"Most importantly, NSF certification is not a one-time event, but involves regular on-site inspections of manufacturing facilities and regular re-testing of products to ensure that they continue to meet the same high standards required to maintain certification over time."

The NSF Mark.
The NSF mark is your assurance that the product has been tested by one of the most respected independent certification organizations in existence today. It is valued by consumers, manufacturers, retailers and regulatory agencies worldwide.
The NSF certification mark on a product means that the product complies with all standard requirements. NSF conducts periodic unannounced inspections and product testing to verify that the product continues to comply with the standard.
How does NSF certification affect you?
NSF certification can be very important if you will be using the machine for commercial use. Many state health codes require that NSF certified machinery is used in a commercial setting. So, if you get a non NSF approved machine for commercial use, there is a chance it may not pass you local heath code inspection. Please contact your local heath and safety authorities to verify requirements in your area.
NFS certified equipment lets you know that the manufacturer and machinery comply with strict standards giving you piece of mind and can save valuable time and frustration when dealing with health code and safety inspections.
